In Welcome to the Forum
Half the time the iPhone app spots my TV right away, and the other half it just spins until I give up. Nothing fancy here: dual-band router with a single SSID, no VPN (at least I think so), and the TV stays on standby. I did the classic “toggle Wi-Fi” and restarted the app, which helps for a bit. Before I start nuking settings, how do you figure out if it’s flaky Wi-Fi or some iOS permission quietly blocking discovery?
