You're right, Silent Assassin shouldn't be something you download like a skin, it should be a required mod. People should be allowed to use Silent Assassin freely. But I don't think there's any mod within that category. People would download that one directly with something like "Allowed mods that I don't have to worry about when playing in a speedrun" and probably other mods. It would be good to create a unique category and add any mods that fit it's needs.
Yes, its a separate category, just like the normal ones. The reason is that the way we play hc is not just a little bit different than main. Most people who play main do not really understand the way we play hc, simply because we adapt and evolve our speedrun when it's not well understood. So we did not want to keep the category silences because it has several other track mods that are way more relevant to main.
I agree that hc players need to learn the speedrun strategy, but sometimes nothing/no one taught it to us. So we have to play by ourselves by trial and error sometimes. And that's what we're doing, and it don't require mods
Officially, we're trying to make a solid base for the speedrun community and we're making our final steps towards that goal. We're an modpack, for an another modpack. So we need a category for our mods alone, or a subcategory for the same purpose. If you have a problem, we want to get to know it
Oh man, that's a really good idea. There's no such thing as a requirement mod, but a customized one. Silent Assassin has a category all it's own because it was made with a specific speedrun. There are tons of mods within the modpack community that brand themselves as unique mods, and there are certain mods that are common to all of them, like SFM and MPC. Operating in a category like Silent Assassin would be great for more players to discover.
In a nutshell, the V-Control Pro safely stops every other user from accessing your setup, so that you can get on with the fun stuff. What's more, its new iPad app is so slick and intuitive that it's even possible to control the mixer from an iPad-free environment. Never again will you be forced to turn away from an artist or engineer struggling to use a full-featured mixer because your desk is loaded with spare equipment. d2c66b5586
